Mathias Reimann joined BLUE-ZONE GmbH as a full-time employee in 2020 and is responsible for the standard extension of the backend as a developer. He can already draw on 15 years of professional experience in the IT sector. Due to his knowledge and competence in server and interface programming, he supports the backend team in all areas.

Mathias seeks compensation for his IT workday in the mountains. After work, he likes to go on his "after-work round" Feichteck. When he reaches his destination, he has a Bavarian snack as a "reward". According to the motto: "Hiking without a snack is not hiking". The peace and quiet, the nature as well as the sporting component provide the perfect contrast to the daily work routine.

However, he does not only seek the proximity to the mountains in summer for "hiking and biking", but also in winter for numerous winter sports activities that the Alps have to offer.

Family also plays an important role in his life. Above all, the connection with his nieces and nephews is particularly important to him. His friends and family would describe him with the following three adjectives: Hardworking, helpful and caring.

Mathias grew up in a small village near Fürstenfeldbruck. When he got an insight into the IT world and programming languages through his apprenticeship as an application developer, the interest and passion was awakened. Programming, software architecture but also planning meetings and customer contact inspire him. Working on the ravages of time does not let him go. Determined to keep developing, he completed his bachelor's degree in Embedded System at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences in 2018. Currently, Mathias is writing his master's thesis on the topic of "Industry-specific Product Recommender" - in parallel to his daily work.
