Product manufacturers: linking real products and the digital world

End-to-End: Network your inventory systems with your products in customer use and strengthen your competitiveness.

We implement digital products for manufacturers - from brainstorming and conception to software implementation and support in operation:

Digital products exchange data with your existing systems (even if they are already in use by customers). On this basis, products can be expanded to include new, data-driven services with which you can differentiate yourself from the competition and generate additional revenues.

New business models can be implemented: For example, billing for machines and systems can also be based on actual use (pay-per-use), thus initiating a shift toward recurring revenues.

In addition, you receive comprehensive information about the usage behavior of your customers and can thus improve your products in a targeted manner.

Frauscher Sensor Technology: RMD Project

The "RMD" diagnostic system developed by blue-zone together with Frauscher Sensortechnik collects and analyzes sensor data with the aim of maintaining the performance and reliability of railroad lines.

The company Frauscher Sensortechnik is the market leader in the field of inductive sensor technology for international railroad markets. Tailor-made solutions and the use of Frauscher wheel sensors and axle counters provide rail operators and system integrators with reliable information for safe rail operations.

To further optimize the already available diagnostic system and its data processing, a new higher ranking diagnostic system was developed in cooperation with blue-zone.

With the new system, data from several devices is collected centrally, thus enabling much more detailed queries. The information from the analyses that can be carried out due to the newly gained data depth is optimally prepared and clearly presented for the user on a dashboard as well as detail pages.

This makes it possible not only to analyze the course of sensor data and identify any problem areas, but also to provide early warning of problems that are not yet immediately apparent to the user.

In this way, failures are minimized and Frauscher guarantees its customers the continuous performance and reliability of their operational network.

Schrack Technik - i-CHARGE CION

The i-CHARGE CION charging stations from the Schrack Technik Group contain an electronic module developed by blue-zone that reads ID-based cards via an NFC interface and thus communicates with the charging stations.

Due to the technological progress in the development of e-mobility, the number of electric vehicles on our roads and thus also a nationwide expansion of the infrastructure in the form of charging stations has increased enormously in recent years.

With its i-CHARGE CION line, the Schrack Technik Group, headquartered in Vienna, has developed an intelligent charging system that offers suitable solutions for all available electric vehicles. Simple operation combined with intelligent charging logic enables trouble-free, fast as well as safe charging. The CION charging stations have been in use since summer 2020 in Austria as well as in the European subsidiaries of the Schrack Technik Group and can be found not only in public buildings, parking garages, shopping centers, hotels or airports but also in private households.

For integration into the i-CHARGE CION charging stations, blue-zone has developed an electronic module that reads ID-based cards via an NFC interface and communicates with the charging station. The assembly can be equipped with a display for user interaction and with an RGB LED lighting panel to display dynamic light patterns. The charging station recognizes the authenticated RFID/NFC contactless card with the aid of the NFC interface and thus enables either only a specific group of people to use the charging station or - in public areas - secure billing of charging processes thanks to the integrated MID meter with viewing window. The RFID card is used to transmit the so-called "CDR" (charge detail record), which includes the RFID tag (customer affiliation), charging time and amount of energy. Thanks to the online connection, the charging station operator can then bill the customer for the charge.

Safetydock® - Park Share Charge

SafetyDock® is a holistic infrastructure system for green mobility. The lockable rental boxes with integrated charging function (e.g. for e-bikes) are installed, for example, at the train station, in shopping centers or in municipalities.

Safetydock® enables a modern and cultivated lifestyle with the bicycle. The combination of secure bicycle parking with bikesharing and charging columns for e-cars forms the basis for a new mobility behavior. The lockable rental boxes with integrated charging function are mainly installed at urban residential complexes, in corporate environments and at public bus stops.

Any registered user can conveniently reserve a box or an e-bike via a web portal. With the linked chip card, the booked box can then be opened on site. The operation is simple and intuitive.

The task of blue-zone was the complete development of the secure web portal and the terminal software for the facility as well as the connection of the charging stations for electric cars.

BRP Rotax B.U.D.S. Aircraft Software

blue-zone has developed the B.U.D.S. Aircraft Software together with BRP-Rotax, which is used as diagnostic software for different aircraft engines.

BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG, a subsidiary of BRP based in Gunskirchen, Upper Austria, specializes in the development and production of innovative propulsion systems and is a global innovation and market leader in the field of piston driven aircraft engines. Together with BRP-Rotax, blue-zone has developed the B.U.D.S. Aircraft Software, which is used as diagnostic software for various aircraft engines.

The B.U.D.S. Aircraft Software is connected to the control unit of the aircraft engine and transmits precise live values such as RPM, pressure and temperature, which are visually displayed on a PC as in a cockpit. In this way, the software not only provides direct insight into engine management, but also enables mechanics, for example, to perform rapid engine checks.

These live engine values, which represent the "state of health" of the engine, can of course also be recorded and thus used later for analyses. The findings from this form the perfect basis for optimization. With the B.U.D.S. Aircraft software, reading out the fault memory and displaying it visually is just as quick and easy as importing software updates and making adjustments to engine parameters.
